The Division of Medical Physics at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL invites applicants interested in a faculty position in our clinical Medical Physics division.
The primary focus of the position is to further the clinical mission of the department by supporting the Mayo Clinic Florida Radiology Department through innovative clinical, research, and education programs. The Radiology department includes 39 radiologists and 3 staff medical physicists. This position will provide direct support and direction for projects driven by Radiology; particularly in regards to study design, integration and performance optimization of research protocols, software and hardware. Join a practice that has ample opportunities for strong collaborations with scientists and clinicians from the other Mayo Campuses (Rochester and Arizona). The successful applicant will be expected to contribute primarily to all aspects of MRI and innovative clinical practice, with the ability to cover for all areas of diagnostic imaging physics when needed.
Qualified candidates will have a Ph.D. in Medical Physics (or equivalent) and be board-eligible or board-certified with ABR.
